The Jackson Independent in Jonesboro is the "local" paper for Fast Trax Speedway. This paper covers the Jackson Parish area, which is where FTS is located. A copy of this paper can be obtained by stopping off at Smith's Lakeview or the Citgo Station on your way to the track. You can also get a copy of this paper mailed directly to your home each week by signing up for a yearly subscription.This can be done by simply mailing a check or money order to the following address:

Our newest place to find weekly news coverage from FTS will begin next week in The Ouachita Citizen. They have graciously asked to run this coverage on a weekly basis for our Monroe/West Monroe racers, and are in the process of discussing Feature stories once a month on various drivers. A Rep from The Ouachita Citizen will be posting soon in regards to where and how you can also obtain a copy of this paper as well. So be sure to keep your eyes open for further information.

Thanks for the announcement. My name is Linda Whitlock. I am the FTS/Ouachita Citizen Rep. The Ouachita Citizen is glad to cover Fast Trax Speedway. Our paper comes out every Thursday. I started this due to no one in our local area would cover any of our local guys racing. So I approached my boss and he said go for it. So here I go. You can see advertisements for special races and the race results that will come out in our paper. Due to the races running on Saturday the results for that weeks race will come out in next Thursday paper.
