Saturdays racing
How can every class as soon as they were let on the track they went racing, except in the Late Models.  Why was this class held up?  I noticed that a car came on late after all the other cars paraded around at least twice.  He went to the rear after an official on the track told him to and the people around me cheered and said good call flagman then all of a sudden he went to the front.  In no other class did they hold the race for a racer to get on the track.  Matter of fact in another class a car came on late and they sent him off.  Why did this particualr person get special treatment.  I know the people around me were upset when that car got to go back to the front.

Re: Saturdays racing
Figured there would be some type of post on this in the Late Model class.   The class was held up because the Late Model that was late coming on the track was sitting in pit row trying to get all of his racing equipment on, because he had been watching his son race in the class before him. Which I'm sure that every other driver would do, if one of their sons/daughters were in race car.....and there are some that do other than him.   He went to the rear of the field and on the first lap there was a caution and they told him to go to his rightful position.   I heard the cheering on the specatators when they put him to the rear....I would assume they knew that he'd just put on a better show from there than starting on the pole....but that's okay, he just went where they told him to go...and it turned out to be a very good race for the spectators to watch.  Hope to see everyone at Fasttrax next Saturday!

Re: Saturdays racing

Yes it was a good race ... but ... there was no reason for him to not have his car ready where the other cars lined up.  He could have left from watching his son race in time to get ready for his race.  It's not like that it was his sons first race ever.  They cheered because  hopefully and finally the favortism was going to end.
