I know this was not his son's first race ever, but it was his son's first race with in the IMCA Sport Mod class at Fast Trax. Bubba's car was in the staging area ready to go on the track, all he had to do was jump in and buckle up all of his safety equipment. If he would not have taken the time to hook up his safety equipment he would have rolled onto the track with the rest of the Late Models. I, for one, am very glad he took the time to buckle up (as do all of the drivers, thankfully).

I agree the race was a good one. I see no problem with him watching his son race. No matter if his son has ran 1000 races, there should still be no problem with it. Racing is a family sport to me and who really cares if he took a little longer to get out there. I think if a family is running in different classes, they should not run them classes back to back. But either way, it is not like he took an hour to get ready.
Was enjoying watching the 3 car race for first. Bummer a lap car cost the 1s the win, but that is all part of racing.
I agree!!! really now how long was it? ok lets see,.. I was there and it didnt hold up the race to me. Even if it takes 10 mins ,I still would rather wait to make sure everyone is safe and see one of the top drivers make a race out if it!!! I mean does it rally matter? I bet you could ask all of the drivers and they would be just fine with it. Just like everyone on this fourm is! It sounds to me whoever was crying about this topic they just dont like bubba and will try to find anything to cut him down .Whatever you say about him good or bad when he rolls out on that track ( even if he is late ) you know your going to get a great race!! and isnt that all that matters?
