crate racing
we need crate racing here. have you ever been to a crate race? we raced all over at many different tracks in 06 and never had less than 44 cars and as many as 98 at one show trying to make a 24 car feature.that's tough! it's the biggest thing that ever hit late model racing and people can't stand it because they have a crate motor. get over it. they are more competitive than any SUPR race that I have ever been to and we love it. if anybody needs any information on the series or schedule dates  for our races or if you you would like to chat with that great talented, hansom, driver of mine, just call Carroll Motorsports anytime.Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, he got married and had a handsom little 6lb.15oz. boy. so we will be having a new driver coming up in just a couple of years.

Re: crate racing
Last week Nicholas Brown and myself made a trip down to Baton Rouge to pick up our WALL2WALL spec motor and have got it in the car and fired.  The car is almost ready for the upcomming season and we are in the process of finishing up the body and then we will be ready for the season to kick off.  Right now plans are to run the first several races with the cars and stars of the SUPR series.  There will be some tough competion this year but we feel we can compete with the greatest drivers in the south in SUPR.  Good luck to all drivers this year and we cant wait to see everybody at the track this year.

Re: crate racing
If you want crate racing Monticello will be having them up there this year or go to Baton Rouge cause they will be racing them this year as well.  I saw a couple of crate cars running with spec powered cars here last year and they didnt stand a chance with them.  Give me the cars and drivers that i know with a spec motor instead of the nobodies with a crate.

Re: crate racing

I don't know who those couple of drivers were in the crate cars that showed up last year but they must have been beginners. Because where we're from, the crate cars  have entered the super Late Model feature at Jackson's Swinging Bridge Speedway, Darren Dorsey to be exact, and won from the rear of  about 12 cars. He has a steel headed 602 engine with 350 hp.and beat Dennis Duncan in the Majestic Metals Jay Dickens powered GRT. And by the way, the engine Dennis has I believe is over 650 hp. And by the way your nobody SUPR drivers are invading our class or is it , your SUPR drivers is invading our nobody class. Jay Blair drove a great race at Columbus and beat a bunch of nobodys.. Somebody needs to tell him he was racing all by himself. Seems awful funny if this is a class of nobodys, we have a big list of losers ,like,

Kenny Schrader, Tony Stewart, Jeff Smith, Mike Boland, Jay Blair, Red Farmer, Dale Earnhardt Jr.,and the list goes on and on. Face it , if you haven't actually been to watch a crate race, you don't have the right to put us down!Better yet, if you never tried to qualify for a national crate race, you don't know what your talking about.

Try it you'll like it!

Re: crate racing
Man thats real smart to be calling drivers in your class a bunch of losers.  Look at Jay Blair, he lost his super late model ride and he wanted to race so he went to a crate car.  If the crates want to race bad enough and they think they can hang just come and run against the spec powered cars im sure none of them will care.
