Mr. Billy,
I talked with IMCA and they told me that you have until October 29th to have changes made to the points. I'm asking you to do the right thing and not let "Family Favortism" come before being an honest business man. When I talked to you all those times you not only told me that the $1500 to win special event race would not count as a track points race, but you also told my car owner, my crew and several other people. A week after the race Glen told me that it did not count and it would take a couple of weeks to get the points straightened out. Linda also told me the race was not suppose to count. You should have never told me the race was not going to be counted if you were not going to do what you said.
Please show the racing community and me that you are a man of your word.
Sincerely,
Jimmy Whitlock & the Limited 88 Owner & Crew
Bill,
If you will look under General Rules, Line Up Procedures you will see IMCA Points ended on September 23. Also look on July 28 at the way the races were lined up. We ran under IMCA Point Average line up except for July 28 when they lined us up heads up the way heats where finished which is in direct violation of IMCA Line Up rules. Technically that race should not count as a track points night either. Cody wins the 1st heat and starts on the pole of the feature. Also I thought I knew Mr. Billy until the Monday after our last points night on July 15. I called IMCA that day to see if Mr. Billy had the big race (July 21) dropped. I called Mr. Billy that evening and told him I had talked to IMCA and all he had to do was call them. In a rude voice he told me he knew I had called IMCA and that he was not going to change the points. I asked him if lied to me all those weeks and he said yes he did and slammed the phone down in my ear. Bill, you really don't know people and what they will do when family is involved. As you can see by the points we would have finished 1st not 2nd.
Jimmy Cody

I know the track wanted the Big Race to be IMCA sanctioned. I called Virginia 2 weeks before the race and talked to her about it. She told me alot of tracks have special events and has them as National and Regional points events but drop as a local track points race. I called Mr. Billy and told him that and he said that sounded good and that's what he would do. I also talked to Virginia 3 weeks after the July 28 race when the feature race was lined up heads up the way heats finished. She told me the track can have 2 races where they don't have to line up by seasonal points average, they have to do a draw - redraw procedure (Draw for heats then redraw either top 10 or 12 on feature not heads up by heat finishes). She also said Fast Trax would be watched next season on line up procedures. I asked her if I could file a protest against the race but she said IMCA could not do anything about it. Bill, I consider you a good friend and hope that doesn't change. All I ever wanted was for Mr. Billy to do what he said he was going to do.
Today, October 29, is the last day you can call IMCA and change this. I'm asking you please do what you told me you were going to do all those times I talked to you on the phone.
