It took us a few years but we finally realized that the rules in this class are controlled by a select few and if you are not in that select few then you can suggest all the changes you want but it will not happen. As far as going to asphalt tires we suggested that about 4 years ago and were told that it would leave the late models no where to sell their pull-offs. The ones in that select few do not want them for several reasons, they would even the field of cars and show who the drivers are and not just who has the most money to by new tires every week, they would allow some of the cars from other tracks to come and compete and possibly out run them, lastly it would be very hard to hook up those big motors that they have been getting away with for all this time on the asphalt pull-offs. If you will remember back that far, I think everyone will agree that the street stock cars had a lot closer racing when they ran street radials.  JMO
